Who will the Golden State Warriors play in the 2016 Western Conference Finals?

After probably one of the hardest fought five-game series in NBA Playoffs history, the Golden State Warriors have dispatched of the Portland Trail blazers in the second round and will now advance to the Western Conference Finals.

It wasn’t easy at all for the Warriors in the series, as they had to deal without Stephen Curry for a good chunk of the series, while the Trail Blazers’ young talent was absolutely lights out in just about every area.

Curry finally returned and hit big shots in both Game 4 and Game 5, as the Warriors finally punched their ticket for a chance to compete for a spot in the NBA Finals. The Warriors will now await the winner of the San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Thunder currently hold a 3-2 series advantage, but each game has gone down to the wire and the Spurs are more than capable of winning the next two. The Warriors are probably hoping that series goes seven games, so that they can get the rest that they need for some of their banged up players.

One thing is known and that’s the Warriors are moving on.
