Russell Westbrook continued breaking NBA fashion before Game 6 with his zebra-print shoes

Russell Westbrook carried the Oklahoma City Thunder to a pivotal win in Game 5 of their Western Conference series against the San Antonio Spurs. He was big throughout the night, but also came up with the biggest buckets in the biggest moments of the night as well. Before Game 6 ever started on Thursday night, though, it was Westbrook’s zebra-print shoes that stole the show.

As Russell Westbrook has been known to do on occasion, the eccentric point guard showed up to the game changing fashion the best way he knows how:

If this were literally anyone else in the NBA besides Russell Westbrook, everyone would be losing their minds at them wearing these shoes. Because it’s Russ, though, no one even bats an eye other than to just talk about how he is the Kanye West of NBA fashion—or something like that.

However, what always stands out about Westbrook when it comes to his fashion choices and how they always get people buzzing is the fact that he can almost wholly get away with it. When you’re one of the fastest, most aggressive, and most productive players in the league, you can wear whatever print you want on your shoes—even zebra.
