Spurs center Boban Marjanovic decided to let fans know how felt about them, by making a gesture with his giant hands.

In what was seen as a shocking upset by many, the San Antonio Spurs were eliminated in the second round of the NBA Playoffs by the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday night. While the Thunder were picked by some to win, the fact that they did it after getting blown out in Game 1 comes as a bit of a surprise.

It also leads many to wondering about the futures of certain Spurs players such as Manu Ginobili, Tim Duncan and Tony Parker. While those questions will be answered during the offseason, the Spurs fans were at the airport in full force after there team had been eliminated to thank them for their efforts.

With a large contingency of Spurs fans cheering them as they got home, Spurs rookie center Boban Marjanovic decided to thank the fans in only a way that he could.

As he was getting into his car, Marjanovic made a giant heart with his giant hands to show the Spurs fans that he loves them and is thankful for embracing them ever since he came over to the team.

Big men are always popular in the league, but the immense Marjanovic instantly became a fan favorite due to the hustle that he played with at his size.

With Marjanovic gaining some important development in his first year with the team, he will certainly see a possible expanded role moving forward. That role should also include fan outreach because he’s awesome at that as well.
