Here are the official results from the 2016 AAA 400 at Dover International Speedway.

After weeks of bad luck to start the season, Matt Kenseth has finally punched his ticket to the Chase and a spot in next week’s All-Star Race. After it looked like it would be a week of Kevin Harvick dominating, the track at Dover absolutely tore up everyone that raced in the 2016 AAA 400.

Harvick and Carl Edwards would be the battle to watch early on, until they gave way to Kyle Larson and Martin Truex Jr on the track. Truex Jr. would eventually have his chances ended in a massive 18-car wreck that started after Jimmie Johnson’s car failed to shift gears on a restart.

Then Edwards and Kenseth would be the leaders, but Edwards would be spun by Larson and would hit the safety barrier hard. Over the last 30 laps, Kenseth and Larson put together one of the best battles of the year with Chase Elliott right behind them.

Kenseth would have a tremendous race and would hold off the two young drivers and pick up his first win of the year. With a wild day in the books, here are the official results from Dover.
