The Cubs roasted a guy on Twitter who mocked Anthony Rizzo for having Taylor Swift as his walkup music.
The Chicago Cubs entered the 2015-16 MLB season as World Series favorites. So far, they have met and arguably exceeded those expectations. They have an MLB-best 27-8 record and are having a ton of fun on the field. The only people having more fun than the players? How about whoever runs their Twitter account?
First baseman Anthony Rizzo is an incredible player who has questionable at best taste in music when it comes to his walkup music. He goes up to “Bad Blood” by Taylor Swift. Someone on Twitter mocked him for it and the Cubs roasted him like a pig at a Kansas City Chiefs tailgate. While the poor soul deleted his tweet in shame, the internet never forgets anything thanks to screenshots.

The three-run home run in question led the way as Chicago beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 8-2. Rizzo has been an MVP candidate for his team so far. He finished fourth in NL MVP voting last season and is on pace to crush his numbers from last season.
Rizzo has 11 home runs and a league-high 33 runs batted in to go along with an impressive OPS of 1.039 while getting on base over 40 percent of the time.
He’ll have to overcome reigning NL MVP Bryce Harper, but if anyone has what it takes to beat out Harper and his incredible stats, it’s Rizzo. And his team might wind up winning the world series.
