Joey Votto really took a big risk on Sunday by trolling the hell out of the Philadelphia Phillies fans

By now it’s pretty much common knowledge to all sports fans that the crowds in Philadelphia are not exactly the nicest all the time. You’ve all heard the horror stories from time to time, which would basically mean an athlete probably shouldn’t get into it with these Philly folks.

Yeah, well, Cincinnati Reds star Joey Votto really doesn’t care about this rule.

On Sunday as the Reds were in Philadelphia taking on the Phillies, Votto scooped up a foul ball in the bottom of the sixth inning, then it appeared that he was going to do what a lot of nice baseball players do, that being toss the ball into the crowd.

Well, we would come to find out that either tossing the ball into the crowd was never really in his plan to begin with, or he just flat out changed his mind.

"This is just mean, Joey Votto.https://t.co/cwoKoEhT2r— 120 Sports (@120Sports) May 16, 2016"

Man, now that’s just downright mean. But if there’s one thing that you have to admit it’s that took some guts from the Reds veteran there. To piss off Philly fans like that means that you really don’t have a lot of fear.
