Tom Brady gives Rob Gronkowski the best birthday gift possible

Rob Gronkowski gets to stay up late on his birthday, thanks to New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady who extended the curfew for his stud tight end.

It’s been one heck of a birthday week for All-Pro Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski.

On Thursday, Gronk learned that he would be  on the cover GQ Magazine cover of the June issue along with 2016 SI Swimsuit cover model Hailey Clauson. Later that same day, ESPN announced that the hard partying Gronk would be the first tight end and first New England Patriot ever to earn the cover of Madden 2017.

On Saturday, the three-time first-team All-Pro celebrated his 27th birthday.

So what do you get the superstar who is in the middle of a $54 million dollar contract that he doesn’t already have?

Tom Brady knows. Having played together for six seasons, Brady obviously knows his party-boy No. 87 all too well, as can be seen by his clever birthday gift.

Brady logged on to Facebook to wish his favorite target a happy birthday.

Brady’s post shows the four-time Super Bowl champion quarterback popping out of a pink and white frosted birthday cake in full uniform, with Gronk ready to hug Brady, most likely pulled from one of their 60-plus touchdown combinations.

In typical Gronk fashion, he responded to Brady’s friendly Facebook jab by asking: “11 a.m?”

Brady-to-Gronk might be derailed early in the 2016 season if the Deflategate punishment gets handed down. Brady faces a four-game suspension for his alleged involvement/knowledge of game balls being intentionally deflated to his liking. But for now it’s all fun and games for the dynamic Facebook duo.
