5. Las Vegas tourism will guarantee a packed house for each game

One of the things that owners in all sports worry about is having a team move to a new city and there not being the kind of reception desired, forcing games to be played in front of half empty stadiums and making the move look like a huge mistake.

If there is an NFL team in Las Vegas, you can guarantee that the stadium will be packed for each of the eight regular season games and the two preseason contests. It doesn’t matter if the Raiders or whoever moves there is 16-0 or 0-16, because Las Vegas is a tourist destination first and foremost.

You will have the fans of the team that will come to the games as well as the Las Vegas residents who are happy to have pro football…but you will also have the tourists from across the United States and around the world who are going to come and watch football because it is near all the other activities in the city. It doesn’t matter who is playing or how the game goes, because it will become the next place to be seen.
