High Value SF

DeMarre Carroll-Toronto Raptors (4,600): Carroll had a massive game in Game 2 against Miami with 21 points and 38.25 fantasy points. He didn’t match it for the rest of the series, though, and was limited to under 30 minutes in games five and six.  He did play 34 minutes in Game 7 totaling 24.25 fantasy points on 14 points, five rebounds, and two assists. Carroll still isn’t 100% but he’s matched up with Paul George, Dwyane Wade, and now LeBron James which has definitely forced him to step right in as the Raptors defensive stopper.  His offense is hit-or-miss, but he’s a solid value play.

Harrison Barnes-Golden State Warriors (4,100): Barnes played 36 minutes in the Warriors’ close-out win against the Blazers totaling eight points and seven rebounds on his way to 18.25 fantasy points. Although he never rekindled the double-double magic that got him 29.5 fantasy points in Game 1 of the series, Barnes did manage over 18 fantasy points in four of the five contests and played at least 29 minutes in every game.  He works well with the Curry/Thompson backcourt and should return to his regular workload now that Curry is back. Barnes will get plenty of minutes against OKC, but how effective he will be is still a question mark. ∗∗
