Oklahoma City Thunder forward Serge Ibaka made a huge block on Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson in transition.
The Golden State Warriors and Oklahoma City Thunder played a game of streaks in the first half of Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals on Monday night. The Warriors would get out to big leads on the floor and the Thunder would make some plays to get right back in it.
After the Warriors were threatening to run away with the game again, Oklahoma City Thunder forward Serge Ibaka made a huge play to keep things from getting out of control.
After the Warriors had gotten out in transition, Stephen Curry fed Klay Thompson with a huge open pass as he streaked down the court with no one to beat.
With an inevitable layup coming up for Thompson, it was to the shock of everyone, that Ibaka was able to fly in from out of nowhere and pin the ball against the backboard and block the shot.
Ibaka is one of the best in the game at blocking shots and Thompson choosing to go up soft with the layup on the play probably cost him.
The good news is that he would hit a couple of huge shots after.
