<p>Last year, Timothe Luwawu missed a flight to a private workout with NBA scouts and ultimately chose to withdraw from the 2015 NBA Draft. That event may turn out to be a potential blessing as the 21-year old returned to European competition in the Adriatic League and delivered a solid season, boosting his draft stock.</p>
<p>At 6-7 with a 6-11 wingspan, Luwawu should be ready to contribute quickly as a defender on the wing. He moves his feet well and has the quickness and length to defend multiple positions. Statistically, he has made an impact by disrupting ball-handlers and passing lanes, generating 1.7 steals per game this season.</p>
<p>Offensively. Luwawu is explosive in transition, but suffers some in the half court where his limited ball-handling skills are noticeable. However, he’s become useful as an outside shooter, making 35.7 percent of his 156 three-point attempts across all competitions this season. Luwawu has excellent potential as a two-way win in the modern NBA even if he’s unable to develop into a self-creating scorer.</p>
