The NBA Playoffs continue this Thursday with Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals as the Raptors try to figure out a way to avoid going down 0-2 to LeBron and the Cavs.  Due to the way atypical schedule, tonight’s DFS fantasy basketball contests have an unusual layout. The NBA takes tomorrow off, and Saturday is another game in the Eastern Conference Finals before we get our next Golden State-Oklahoma City game on Sunday.  As a result, tonight’s competitions include the game tonight and the game Sunday while skipping over the game Saturday night. I would assume on Saturday we’ll get a Saturday-Sunday contest meaning two contests will end on Sunday and none will finish Friday or Saturday.  To see who I think you should get in your lineup in the unusual Thursday/Sunday slate, check out my DraftKings daily picks on the following slides.

More from Cleveland Cavaliers

Game 2 in Cleveland tonight should be an interesting one, and hopefully we get more of an effort from the Raptors to make it a closer game than the Game 1 blowout. The Western Conference Finals take three days off after the Warriors evened things up last night before Game 3 of the series which gets a primetime slot on Sunday night to wrap up this two-day, two-game contest.

As it has been throughout the season, my goal in this daily post is to give you the information you need to build your own lineup that can bring home a win for your team. In order to help you find the position and price-point that you need, you’ll find two slides per position in this post–one with high-salary options and one with high-value options. Each slide contains at least two options with extras thrown in where possible.  I base each pick on the current form of each player and the positional matchups each player will face in today’s game.

I rank my picks every morning using stars after each selection to show the strength of the pick. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a point-per-dollar basis). Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my lineup for today’s competition. I suggest you build your own customized team with the players you like the most, but you’re welcome to check out my lineups and use them as a place to get started.

In my DraftKings daily picks, all salary references and references to “fantasy points” refer to DraftKings pricing and scoring.  If you are looking for similar coverage specifically for FanDuel, check the box above for related posts or find the latest on the fantasy basketball hub.
