The Duke Blue Devils took the opportunity to troll Kentucky head coach John Calipari after landing five-star center Marques Bolden.

Twitter has become a great tool for professional and college sports teams to troll each other with. Sometimes it’s funny and playful, while other times it’s not and people get fired for tweeting insensitive things.

Then there’s time when a tweet is so blistering hot, it resembles an afternoon in Phoenix. The Duke Blue Devils decided to roast Kentucky Wildcats head coach John Calipari, after they landed five-star center Marques Bolden.

With Calipari recently throwing shade at the Blue Devils on his website coachcal.com, about teaching a man to fish rather than to give a man a fish, the Blue Devils decided to respond to their newest acquisition with a bunch of emojis involving fishing.

The awesome tweet would be deleted, but luckily nothing is ever truly deleted from the internet.

The two storied programs are always competing each other with the top recruits, as they aim to put more banners in their arenas.

Calipari has been known for the one-and-done recruits and it has rubbed some the wrong way, but regardless, both Kentucky and Duke will be competing for top recruits as long as college basketball is around.

However, this time it is Duke gaining the advantage in recruiting and in tweeting.
