Free agent running back Arian Foster has been spotted in the New England area and rumors are running rampant.
While free agency and the NFL Draft are over, teams will now look to add any veteran additions that they can, because they can now get them on a bargain price and without having to worry about losing any compensatory picks.
It’s also easier now for teams to see where there cap numbers stand as well. One intriguing free agent that is still available is Arian Foster. While Foster has yet to sign with a new team after missing most of last season with a torn Achilles, his ability can’t be denied when he is healthy and the odds are some team is going to give him a chance and sign him.
A contending team makes sense for his services. That’s why it should be no surprised that Foster has been seen in the New England area and was spotted at the Boston area by several fans. Could this mean that he’s going to end up with the New England Patriots?

Foster to the Patriots would certainly make a ton of sense if he is indeed in town to workout for them or sign with them. They need more depth at running back and adding someone with the potential to be dynamic like Foster could be a huge steal for them.
He could of course be in town for other reasons, but at this time of the year, veterans are quickly taking whatever deal they can get and Foster is smart enough to know that if he can get a deal with the Patriots and have a chance to contend for a ring, it would be too hard to pass up.
