WWE Extreme Rules 2016: Full match card
A look at the match card for the WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view.
On Sunday, the WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view will emanate from Newark, NJ. The show will be headlined by Roman Reigns vs. AJ Styles in an Extreme Rules match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. This is an extension of a feud that has lasted since the night after WrestleMania 32.
The Reigns vs. Styles program has featured plenty of The Usos, Karl Anderson, and Luke Gallows. They have made their presences felt during this rivalry and may play a part in this match on May 22. Could any of them inadvertently cost one of Reigns or Styles the bout?
A match for the WWE United States Championship will also take place. After winning a No. 1 Contender’s battle royal, Rusev will challenge Kalisto for the belt. The Bulgarian Brute last held this title going into WrestleMania 31 and will look to regain the strap. Plus, he badly needs momentum after breaking away from the lowly League of Nations faction. Will this happen at Extreme Rules?
Three other title matches will also be seen on the show.
