A barbecue restaurant in Fort Worth has offered Rougned Odor free barbecue for life after punching Jose Bautista in the face.

Texas Rangers second baseman Rougned Odor won over a lot of baseball fans after punching Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Jose Bautista in the face. Bautista slid hard into Odor well after Odor had stepped on second base.

Odor wasn’t going to have any of it and shoved Bautista. Bautista squared up and Odor punched him in the face. A lot of Rangers fans are proud of him. That includes the owner of a Fort Worth barbecue restaurant, who has offered Odor free food for life and has made a shirt honoring Odor’s punch.

"“We just thought it would be a funny thing if we offered [Odor] free food because he wasn’t the only one who wanted to punch Bautista after last year,” said owner Travis Heim, via NBC Dallas-Fort Worth, “so you know, it’s kind of a justice, a little bit.”"

Hopefully for Heim Barbecue’s sake, Odor isn’t a huge fan of barbecue or he could easily put them out of business. Odor certainly has time on his hands to check out the restaurant since he got an eight game suspension from Major League Baseball for his role in the brawl between the Rangers and the Blue Jays.

Regardless, the punch was the best thing to happen to baseball in weeks. Nobody is talking about baseball in May unless something interesting happens, ans this certainly qualifies.
