Preakness Stakes 2016: Past Winners

After an exciting Kentucky Derby, it’s not time for horse racing fans to turn their attention to the Pimlico Race Grounds for the 2016 Preakness Stakes. Everyone who was thrilled in the first leg of the Triple Crown has their attention turned to the Preakness.
Nyquist won the Kentucky Derby and will now look to make a run at the Triple Crown like every thoroughbred in the colt’s position does. To do that, he’ll have to join the list of 141 winners in the 140 runnings of the Preakness Stakes in history (two races were run in 1918).
