Festus Ezeli is a large man. Like seven feet tall and 265 pounds large. Doing anything over him on a basketball court is a very difficult thing, which makes him an important part of the Golden State Warriors bench unit. Dunking over him becomes even more difficult, as Ezeli has a talent for blocking shots and directly challenging him is normally not a good idea. Someone forgot to tell Serge Ibaka all of that.

During Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals on Sunday night, Ibaka took a great pocket pass from Russell Westbrook and raced Ezeli to the rim. The two got there at around the same time meaning it would take something extra for Ibaka to come away with two points. He showed that he had something extra.

The dunk was part of a great start for the Thunder who are looking to protect their home court against the defending champs. More plays like that will surely keep the crowd at the fever pitch they reached early on and make things much easier for the Thunder. Considering how important every little advantage is against the Warriors that could be important.
