Looking at the WWE Extreme Rules 2016 final betting odds before the May 22 show
There’s so much for wrestling fans to be looking forward to at WWE Extreme Rules 2016, which is finally here and will take place on Sunday, May 22 at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. Not only are all of the big names that anyone could want on the card and there’s also the feeling around the show that anything could happen.
Every major title within WWE will be on the line on Sunday night at WWE Extreme Rules in addition to a slew of other high-quality matches. The question, though, is what exactly is going to happen and what it means for the company moving forward. One of the best ways to get an idea of that is to look at the betting odds, specifically the final lines after the “smart money” has come in.
Here’s a look at those final odds via SkyBet (Note: The Club vs. The Usos match is not listed with odds):
Kickoff Match (No DQ) | |
Baron Corbin | 1/9 |
Dolph Ziggler | 5/1 |
Asylum Match | |
Dean Ambrose | 1/12 |
Chris Jericho | 6/1 |
IC Title Fatal 4-Way | |
The Miz | 1/5 |
Cesaro | 9/2 |
Kevin Owens | 10/1 |
Sami Zayn | 12/1 |
Tag Title Match | |
The New Day | 1/7 |
The Vaudevillains | 4/1 |
US Title Match | |
Rusev | 1/9 |
Kalisto | 5/1 |
Women’s Title Submission Match
Charlotte | 1/8 |
Natalya | 9/2 |
WWE WHC Extreme Rules Match
Roman Reigns | 1/12 |
AJ Styles | 6/1 |
It’s obviously quite interesting to see Charlotte as such a heavy favorite in the Women’s Championship match, just as it’s shocking to see Rusev so heavily favored as well. Meanwhile, Roman Reigns being that heavy favorite shouldn’t shock anyone that’s seen how the show has been booked leading up to WWE Extreme Rules.
However, you can never know the outcomes for certain until the everything is actually said and done, so don’t miss anything that happens on Sunday night in the Prudential Center.
