WWE Extreme Rules Rumors: Bray Wyatt teasing return

Bray Wyatt has been out of action with an injury, but he’s at least hinting that he might return at WWE Extreme Rules 2016

WWE Extreme Rules 2016 promises to be highly exciting just based on the match card alone set for the pay-per-view at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ on Sunday, May 22. More than just the match card, there are some tasty rumors circulating about potential returns from injury. Seth Rollins was a name floated earlier in the day. With the start of the show nearing, though, Bray Wyatt came into the fold.

On Sunday night with WWE Extreme Rules just over an hour away from beginning, Bray Wyatt sent out a tweet that was simply a picture of him with the caption simply being a hashtag for “The Return:”

For once, Bray Wyatt definitely isn’t being cryptic in what he’s trying to tell us here.

The question, though, is whether Bray is being serious in that he’s coming back from injury at WWE Extreme Rules or if he’s just teasing the WWE Universe. Considering recent reports that Wyatt, John Cena, Rollins, and Randy Orton are all set to return in the coming weeks while also keeping in mind how superstars like to troll fans on social media, both seem like feasible possibilities.

We obviously can’t know for sure what’s going to happen with Bray Wyatt on Sunday night, but this tweet might be enough reason to tune into WWE Extreme Rules to see if he does indeed come back and in what capacity.
