No. 1 – Tampa Bay Buccaneers

One player doesn’t make an entire team… but in the case of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, one player could be enough to convince Jimbo Fisher to take over from Dirk Koetter should the latter lead the team to another losing season.

The team’s quarterback, Jameis Winston, may be the top player on Fisher’s resume when his career is all said and done. If Fisher could get a chance for a reunion with the former FSU star and Heisman Trophy winner, it may be too much to say no to.

In all honesty, the Bucs should be a team with a winning record in 2016 and could even fight for a playoff spot. Their 6-10 record in 2015 could have an asterisk by it considering three of those losses were by seven points or less. Tampa Bay has a good young team aside from Winston that Fisher could mold as he sees fit.

In addition, the ownership seems to have finally become stable and the team has a fan base that is much more pro-FSU than Jacksonville and on par with the number of Seminole fans and alumni in South Florida (with a Miami Dolphins team that Fisher should want nothing to do with). It might not be open, but it would be the top landing spot for Jimbo Fisher.
