Even Michael Jordan had his embarrassments in his great title runs.

While the New York Knicks get all the publicity for the playoff battles they had with the Chicago Bulls, the Cleveland Cavaliers featuring Mark Price and Brad Daugherty gave the Bulls plenty of fits. They were not just props for Michael Jordan’s highlight reel.

Or maybe they were.

The Bulls were already champions when they faced off in the 1992 Eastern Conference Finals. The Cavaliers were certainly game to try and knock them off.

The Bulls though struggled in this game. They failed to score more than 20 points in any of the first three quarters, falling behind by 27 points entering the final quarter. Chicago was down 16 after one.

Cleveland had Chicago’s number this day.

Mark Price had 23 points and seven assists with Brad Daugherty scoring 28 points. Michael Jordan scored 20 points with 11 rebounds. He certainly produced on his end. The Bulls though shot just 37.1 percent with Jordan making 7 of 22.

It did not matter in the end, Chicago won the series and went on to defeat Portland in the 1992 Finals.

The point is, everyone has a bad game. And ultimately it is how you pick yourself up that matters.
