Welcome back to the BAE Index.
Normally the BAE Index tries to be fair. We try to take a few highlights from each team or each game around the league to give fans a real sense of what went well for more than just one team on any night. This morning it won’t be like that. It won’t because the Oklahoma City Thunder decided it wouldn’t be. From the first to the fourth quarter on Sunday they dismantled the defending NBA champions. So buckle up and get ready for lots of Thunder action.
Don’t you dare believe you can stop Russell Westbrook.

Festus Ezeli thought he could slide over and contest a Russell Westbrook layup. One eurostep later and Russ had his layup and Ezeli had to take a Russ stink face.

Russell Westbrook had himself a night:

“No big deal just gonna through a bounce pass through my own legs in the middle of the Western Conference Finals.” I love Russell Westbrook.

KD is not nice:

Things seemed to be going well for the Warriors when Harrison Barnes went for a dunk. Kevin Durant had other ideas and once again the Thunder continued to make every big play.

Serge Iboomshakalaka:

This was one of the moments in the first half that started the feeling that it was the Thunder’s night. Turns out that feeling was 100 percent correct.

Poor Steven Adams:

Only one thing went wrong for the Thunder on Sunday. Poor Steven Adams is going to have to start thinking about playing games with a cup on like a baseball player.
