Every season some player on the last year of their contract heads into the NBA Playoffs and puts together an incredible stretch of play that earns them a contract much greater than anything they would have previously earned. Last season that player was Cleveland Cavaliers forward Tristan Thompson and this season it is very clearly one of Thompson’s opponents in the Eastern Conference Finals, Toronto Raptors big man Bismack Biyomobo.

What makes Biyombo’s emergence so much fun is the unbridled joy that he has whenever he does anything good, be it a dunk, a rebound or more often than not a big time dunk. Biyomobo finger wags, poses like Usain Bolt in the middle of action and just generally smiles and laughs more than any player on the floor for either team.

On Monday night Biymobo added another reason to smile to his highlight reel with a big time block of Kevin Love at the rim.

While I am still not sure exactly what Kevin Love was thinking with this dunk attempt, it doesn’t change the fact that Biz provided yet another boost of energy for the Raptors right as the Cavaliers were trying to make a run.

Thanks to plays like this Biyombo is probably well on his way to close to a max contract this summer and it will be amazing. For now we just continue to enjoy the Bismack Biyombo show, complete with all the smiling and finger wagging that it comes with.
