Cleveland Cavaliers star forward Kevin Love went down with an apparent ankle injury in Game Four of the Eastern Conference Finals on Monday.

Things are not going as expected for the Cleveland Cavaliers since traveling north of the border for the 2016 Eastern Conference Finals. After winning their first 10 postseason games and looking unstoppable in the East, Cleveland has dropped their last two games to the Toronto Raptors and find the series tied at two games a piece.

Now, you can add some injury concerns to the worries for the Cavaliers and head coach Tyronn Lue. During Monday’s Game Four loss, star forward Kevin Love went down with an apparent ankle injury after stepping on the foot of an official while backing up:

After the third quarter injury, Kevin Love sat out the entire fourth quarter of the game. However, he told USA Today afterwards that he would be ready to play when Game Five tips off:

"“I’ll be fine. Probably sore tomorrow. Just got to play. Nothing that will prevent me from playing.”"

Lue said that Kevin Love sitting out the fourth quarter (something that he also did in Game Three) had less to do with the injury and more with the hot play of Channing Frye, who has 23 points in the last two games. Love has hit just five of his 23 shots in the last two games, including four baskets in Game Four:

"“I thought Channing came in and gave us a great lift. And like I said, like last game, to just try to put Kevin back in with four minutes to go in the fourth quarter in a hostile game, hostile environment, it’s not fair to him.”"

Game Five between the Raptors and Cavaliers takes place Wednesday night at 8:30 PM in Cleveland.
