These five teams should consider pursuing Toronto Raptors center Bismack Biyombo in free agency.

If there is anyone that has elevated their free agency stock in the NBA Playoffs, it’s Toronto Raptors center Bismack Biyombo. With Jonas Valanciunas going down with an ankle injury, Biyombo has had the opportunity to show that he can be the man at center.

His biggest performance came in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers, when Biyombo pulled down 26 rebounds and helped lead his team to victory.

He’s not a player that is going to put up points, but he’s someone that’s going to grab plenty of rebounds and block a lot of shots. That’s the way the center position is played in the NBA today and with the correct skill set, Biyombo will be able to strike it big in free agency.

He originally signed a two-year/$6 million deal with Toronto last year, but he wisely got a player option that will allow him to test free agency this year. To make things even better for Biyombo, he stands to make a good deal of money and some executives around the league believe he could receive $20 million a year, as Sean Deveney of Sporting News points out.

With Biyombo set to potentially become a very rich man in free agency, these are the five best destinations for him this summer.
