24. Philadelphia 76ers

player. 93. Let’s be real the Philadelphia 76ers need talent wherever, and however, they can get it. Taurean Prince fits the mold of a potential “3-and-D” player in The Association and he’s a quality risk to take late in the first round. The real prize for Philly in this draft will be Ben Simmons but nailing late picks is essential to team growth as well.
Prince is 6-8 with a 7-0 wingspan and he knocked down a respectable 36.1 percent of his 3-pointers (4.3 attempts) during his senior year at Baylor. While he has the potential to be a solid defender we didn’t get much of a picture of that from his time at Baylor, because the club mainly plays zone on the defensive end. I’ve seen Prince anywhere from 15-35 on draft boards so clearly teams aren’t 100 percent sold on his value at this point. A lot can change from now until the draft and I think Prince will remain a first round selection.

The Sixers have Hollis Thompson, Robert Covington and Jerami Grant who currently fit the same mold, but again talent is talent during a rebuild. Prince is another guy who spent all four years in the NCAA ranks and may be able to contribute sooner than some of his younger counterparts.

To read more about Taurean Prince <a href=. SF.
