According to a report, Tampa Bay Lightning center Steven Stamkos took part in warmups for the first time before Game 7.

With the San Jose Sharks already clinching their spot in the Stanley Cup Finals, the entire world is waiting on the Eastern Conference.

On Thursday night, the Tampa Bay Lightning and Pittsburgh Penguins will play Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals and the winner will take on the Sharks for the Stanley Cup.

With the game being the biggest game of the year, there are some interesting developments happening before the game for the Lightning. According to Lightning beat writer Bryan Burns, Steven Stamkos was on the ice taking part in pre-game warmups for the first time since he had surgery.

Stamkos was diagnosed with a rare condition called Thoracic Outlet Syndrome back in April, and he hasn’t been able to take the ice for his team since.

Whether or not he’s able to get back out there for Game 7 against the Penguins remains to be seen, but it’s a night where all hands are on deck for the Lightning and having Stamkos back would be an emotional plus.

Stamkos would end up taking the ice with his team.
