Fast food giant Taco Bell is offering a free Doritos Loco taco to everyone if a visiting team wins a game during the 2016 NBA Finals.
With the NBA playoffs in full gear, we are one game closer to knowing which two teams are going to meet in the NBA Finals starting next week. The Cleveland Cavaliers took a three games to two lead in their series with the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday, while the Oklahoma City Thunder can finish off the Golden State Warriors with a win Thursday night.
No matter what two teams make it to the Finals, fast food giant Taco Bell is making sure that everyone wins…if the visiting team wins a game during the championship round, according to Sports Illustrated in detailing the company’s “Steal a Game, Steal a Taco” promotion:
"If the away team wins one of the first three games of the series fans can line up at their local Taco Bell on June 15 to collect their prize, and if the away victory comes in one of the final four games the free food will be handed out on June 21."
Taco Bell had a similar promotion in previous years, including during last year’s World Series when all Americans won a free A.M. Crunchwrap taco if either the Kansas City Royals or New York Mets stole a base during a game.
Game 5 between the Warriors and Thunder will take place Thursday night at 9 p.m. from ORACLE Arena in Oakland, Calif. Game 6 between the Cavs and the Raptors will tip off Friday at 8:30 p.m. from the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Canada.
