Zlatan Ibrahimovic might have just confirmed the worst kept secret in the Premier League — that he’s heading to Manchester United this summer.

As we head into what is pretty much the international offseason for major European football clubs, now is the time for those pesky transfer rumors to start popping up.

One of the biggest names on the transfer market this summer is Paris-St.Germain star Zlatan Ibrahimovic. There have been a handful of rumors about where he could play, from staying in France to heading over to North America and the MLS.

But it appears that Zlatan has made up his mind about where his career will take him next, and it’s probably the worst kept secret of the summer .

In a recent interview, Zlatan seemed to indicate that he is ready to join Manchester United this summer, he just has to push the button.

“The future is written,” he said. “I made my choice a long time ago. I just have to push the button.”

Of course, he did’t confirm nor deny that he was talking about Manchester United but we all knew that’s what he was talking about. That being said, it’s far from a done deal that Ibrahimovic will be heading to Man U to possibly finish out his European career, but it makes sense. He has a history with new United manager Jose Mourinho, which seems to only be the icing on top of a cake we’ve watched bake all year long.
