Five takeaways from the 2016 Champions League Final in regards to the upcoming Euro 2016 tournament

The 2016 Champions League Final was undoubtedly a tale of two halves between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid. Atletico’s underdog narrative ultimately fell short of reaching the happy ending after a Juanfran penalty after it went to a shootout opened the door for Cristiano Ronaldo to have a PK to win it. As Ronaldo does as one of the all-time greats, he buried the penalty to give his Real Madrid side a win.
