Gareth Bale injury status: Champions League Final update

Taking a look at the injury status of Gareth Bale from Real Madrid ahead of the 2016 Champions League Final against Atletico Madrid

When it comes to the Champions League Final for 2016 and in any year, there are always a few things you want as a fan. For one, you hope that there are two of the best clubs in the world competing for the title in this prestigious competition, which there are with Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid out of La Liga. However, you also hope that the top stars for those teams are playing, which would include someone like Gareth Bale for Real Madrid.

Throughout his tenure with Real Madrid, Gareth Bale has had a relatively rough go of it in terms of health. Fortunately he hasn’t had any hugely debilitating injuries, but he has had his air share of bumps and bruises along the way that have slowed him down tremendously over the course of his tenure. Given that history, fans have to be wondering what his status is heading into the Champions League Final.

Luckily for Real Madrid and the fans, Gareth Bale is 100 percent healthy heading into the Final on Saturday. The Welsh speedster is all systems go for the huge match and, quite frankly, the only story around him regarding injury is the Wales National Team publicly expressing their concern about him getting hurt in the Final with Euro 2016 so close around the corner.

On Saturday, though, there shouldn’t be an issue that slows Bale down from the start in regards to injuries.
