Taking a look at when Warriors vs. Thunder Game 7 in the Western Conference Finals will be played

After four games in the Western Conference Finals, it looked like the Oklahoma City Thunder were going to cause a major ruckus in the 2016 NBA Playoffs by taking down the defending champion Golden State Warriors, fresh off of their 73-win regular season. The Thunder had a 3-1 series lead and seemed like the dominant force in the series with Stephen Curry struggling.

My how quickly things can change.

Though Curry still took a while to finally look like the MVP once again, the Warriors continued to fight. In Game 5, Klay Thompson came up big alongside a big effort off of the bench from Marreese Speights and other big efforts from Draymond Green to win at home. However, that still left the tough task of going on the road for Game 6 and winning to stay alive.

Klay Thompson again was up to the task to make that possible for the Warriors, though. With Kevin Durant pressing and Russell Westbrook having a productive, but odd game on the night, Thompson came through with a record-breaking shooting night and Steph finally came to life in the clutchest of moments.

Now it’s all about Game 7 to determine whether it will be the Warriors or the Thunder moving on to face the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2016 NBA Finals. That obviously begs the question of when Warriors vs. Thunder Game 7 will be played.

The wait will seem long, but it won’t actually be long at all as Game 7 will take place on Monday, May 30 at 9 p.m. ET with TNT having the broadcast from Oracle Arena.
