Here are the official results from the 2016 Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

In a race that was lacking of a drama on the track for most of the night, Martin Truex Jr. had a run that mirrored his run at Kansas a couple of weeks ago. Truex Jr. led a record number of laps and the big question was whether or not Jimmie Johnson or Kevin Harvick could catch him.

Where bad luck tripped Truex Jr. up at Kansas, he made sure to overcome any obstacles that could have possibly slowed him down at the 2016 Coca-Cola 600. He had issues with a tire early and he got loose on the track, which had everyone thinking that bad luck was about to bite him again.

Instead, he persevered through it and ended up continuing to lead against heavy competition. Johnson appeared to have gotten Truex Jr. off of a restart with 60 laps left, but Truex Jr. was able to just hold on.

Truex Jr. would hold on the rest of the way and he would lead the most miles in any race in the history of NASCAR. Here are the official results from the 2016 Coca-Cola 600.
