Draymond Green pulled down Steven Adams by the arm, but it was ruled a double foul.

There has been no individual matchup in the Golden State Warriors vs. Oklahoma City Thunder series that has garnered more attention than Draymond Green vs. Steven Adams. It all started when Green kicked Adams in the groin in Game 3, but wasn’t suspended for it. Then in Game 6, Adams put Green on a poster.

During a mad scramble in the paint, Draymond Green pulled Steven Adams down, and landed on his head. It was called a double foul even though Adams had no choice but to go down with Green, and even though there’s all the evidence in the world Green intended to take down Adams.

As expected, Twitter was livid over the call:

The last time a Western Conference Final went to a Game 7 was Kings vs. Lakers back in 2002, and that series has become infamous for shady officiating. And theĀ last thing that this game needs is questionable calls to mar what has been a great series and, so far, great Game 7.

If Adams fouls out before Draymond, people will remember this double foul and point to it being a turning point.
