The Baton Rouge Regional for the 2016 NCAA Baseball Tournament has been officially set.

After 64 teams fought their hardest on the diamond this year, they found out their fate on Monday, when the 2016 NCAA Baseball Selection Show ended up placing them all in 16 regional tournaments with four teams in each tournament.

One of the big regional tournaments is the Baton Rouge Tournament, which will be hosted by No. 1 seed LSU. The LSU Tigers will play host to No. 4 Utah Valley, while No. 2 Rice will play No. 3 Southeastern Louisiana.

This bracket has the perfect blend of big baseball schools and small schools looking to make some noise and advance to the super regional tournament. Although LSU will be the big favorite, they can’t sleep on Utah Valley. That’s the beauty of the NCAA Baseball Tournament, as upsets can happen any time.

Rice has been tremendous this year on all sides of the game, but Southeastern Louisiana will have a strong contingency of the crowd cheering them on in Baton Rouge and it should create for a big competitive atmosphere.

Of these four teams in the Baton Rouge Regional, which one will be advancing onto the Super Regional?
