NCAA Baseball Tournament 2016: Clemson Regional set

Here is a look at the four team field for the Clemson Regional in the 2016 NCAA Baseball Tournament that kicks off this weekend.

It’s tournament time in the world of NCAA baseball as the 64 team field has been announced for the annual tournament. The regional round kicks off this weekend with 16 teams advancing to the best of three Super Regional round next weekend at sites across the country.

The 16 regional sites were announced on Sunday, with the Clemson Tigers getting the chance to host one on their campus in Clemson, South Carolina. The Tigers are coming off a wild 18-13 win in the ACC Championship Game over the Florida State Seminoles to complete a season that had its ups and downs, putting them line for a potential spot as one of the eight national seeds.

The field for the Clemson Regional, which is a double elimination tournament that can have a maximum of seven games, is as follows:

The 2016 NCAA Baseball Tournament starts this weekend and concludes with the College World Series, which takes place from June 18th through the 29th in Omaha, Nebraska on the networks of ESPN.
