The Pawtucket Red Sox will be hosting “Free Tom Brady Night” on June 10th with some pretty epic promotions.
Many people are upset that New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady will likely be suspended for the first four games of the 2016 NFL season. Seeing as how most of those people live around Massachusetts, the Pawtucket Red Sox, a minor league affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, will be hosting a “Free Brady Friday” event on June 10.
Anyone who is named Tom or Brady gets free admission. Also, box seats will be lowered to $12 in honor of Brady’s jersey number. There will also be numerous other things going on, including a photo opportunity and a commemorative placard.
"“Brady is one of the region’s most beloved athletes and public figures,” PawSox senior VP/general manager Dan Rea said, via CBS Sports. “This evening allows PawSox fans, so many of whom are Patriots fans, to show their support for him.”"
Minor league promotions are usually extremely creative in an attempt to get as many fans to come to the park as possible, but this one definitely takes the cake. Perhaps Julien Edelman and other Patriots players will be there to support their four-time Super Bowl champion quarterback?
Brady is currently suspended for four games after having his initial suspension revoked and then reinstated by a higher court. It is possible that Deflategate will go all the way to the Supreme Court.
