St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Trevor Rosenthal wore his Memorial Day jersey again on Wednesday.
Sometimes in life you just have to stand out from the others. However, it’s not a good idea to stand out from others when a player is supposed to be in sync about what uniform they’re going to wear that day.
With the St. Louis Cardinals set to take on the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday, everyone took the field for the National Anthem in their uniforms ready to play some baseball. There was just something a tad bit off as the cameras went down the line of Cardinals players.
While the Cardinals were wearing their traditional road gray uniforms, pitcher Trevor Rosenthal was wearing the camouflage Memorial Day jersey instead via Cut4.
It’s okay, @TrevRosenthal. Those camouflage jerseys ARE pretty fantastic. https://t.co/pUjXDZFh9P pic.twitter.com/PlKEfoJrB1

Perhaps by wearing camouflage, Rosenthal was hoping that no one would notice that he was wearing the wrong jersey. Fortunately enough, Rosenthal would eventually get the message right away, as Cardinals broadcaster Jim Edmonds would send him a message real quick.
Perhaps Rosenthal still has American pride running through his veins at an all-time high and wanted to sport that special jersey just one more time.
Or maybe he just missed the message.
