Golden State Warriors vs. Cleveland Cavaliers

Last year in the NBA Finals, it was the Golden State Warriors taking on the Cleveland Cavaliers. Before the 2015-16 season, it was predicted by most that fans would see a rematch in the 2016 NBA Finals and that will come to fruition on Thursday, June 2 for Game 1 at Oracle Arena when the Warriors and Cavaliers will do battle to start off the Finals. However, it’ll be a much different look than last season.

While the Warriors had their MVP in Stephen Curry and players like Draymond Green and Klay Thompson last season, it was really just LeBron James fighting like hell for much of the series with Kevin Love out and Kyrie Irving getting hurt in Game 1. Now they’ve avoided injuries thus far and will look to do the same as they take on Golden State at full strength. Even at full strength, though, the Warriors still won 73 games in the regular season and are historically great. It’ll be tough in any capacity for Cleveland to find a chink in the armor and take down the champs.

This matchup will be broadcast on ABC with live streaming on WatchESPN, which can be accessed online or through the ESPN app and logging in with a cable or satellite subscription.
