These are the reasons the Philadelphia 76ers and Atlanta Hawks need to swap Nerlens Noel and Jeff Teague.

With the NBA season set to come to a close soon, it won’t be long before teams begin making trades and shuffling up their rosters. There are plenty of teams that are going to be looking to overhaul their rosters this season and two teams that could look much different next season are the Philadelphia 76ers and Atlanta Hawks.

It appears that those two teams could be starting off trade season by making a huge deal with each other. According to Shams Charania of The Vertical, the 76ers and Hawks are discussing a deal that would be centered around sending Nerlens Noel to the Hawks and Jeff Teague to the 76ers.

With a deal of this magnitude, there are likely to be plenty of moving parts in the deal and if there is a completion of a trade, that would mean a big change of the landscape for both franchises.

By acquiring Noel, it would likely mean that the Hawks would be moving on from Al Horford, who is a free agent and will command a max contract this summer. It would also mean that the 76ers are ready to start winning games and will be looking to add veterans around the youth on their roster.

It’s a deal with plenty to break down and these are the five reasons why this trade between the two teams needs to go down.
