Bryant Bears vs. East Carolina Pirates

One of the best stories in college baseball in regards to teams that not nearly enough people are talking about is the Bryant Bears. The mid-major enjoyed almost nothing but highs during the regular season with their fantastic play throughout and now enter the 2016 NCAA Baseball Tournament with incredibly high hopes. Those high hopes being in the Charlottesville Regional on Friday against the East Carolina Pirates at Davenport Field.

Bryant lost just 10 games for the entire season, a truly remarkable mark to set no matter what level of competition their conference has to offer. While that may not have earned them a regional host position, they now have a chance to run through this region and even take down the defending national champions—but first they’ll have to start with East Carolina.

This game will be broadcast on ESPN3 on Friday afternoon with live streaming being available on WatchESPN, which can be accessed online or through the ESPN app using a cable or satellite subscription and logging in.
