The second seeded Gophers head down south with a record of 34-20, with losses in five of their last six games. Minnesota has been playing with a heavy heart of late, following the passing of their pitching coach Todd Oakes after a years long battle with leukemia at the far too young age of 55.

Even with losses in six of their last 10 regular season games, Wake Forest did split their six games this season against ACC foes Clemson and Florida State, luckily avoiding Miami on this year’s schedule.
