NC State Wolfpack vs. Navy Midshipmen

The NC State Wolfpack come into the 2016 NCAA Baseball Tournament in a strange position. Sure, they were selected as a regional host and will be playing the Raleigh Regional at their Doak Field after a nice season out of the ACC. However, their first matchup will be against a Navy Midshipmen team on Friday that is likely far better than the No. 4 seed they were handed out. As such, calamity could ensue to start the tourney for these two teams.

NC State has plenty of talent throughout their roster with All-ACC nods littered throughout. However, this Navy team lost only 14 games on the entire season and has tremendous promise. If they can not shrink under the pressure of the tournament, they could start off the Raleigh Regional with a huge upset knocking off the hosts.

This game is going to be broadcast exclusively on ESPN3 with live streaming being available through WatchESPN, which can be accessed by logging in using a cable or satellite subscription either online or on the ESPN app.
