Here’s all the info on where the watch the Rice vs. Southeastern Louisiana game as part of the Baton Rouge Regional in the NCAA Baseball Tournament.
The 2016 NCAA Baseball Tournament gets underway this Friday with 32 games featuring some of the top teams in the sport. The second game in the Baton Rouge Regional will feature the Rice Owls and the Southeastern Louisiana Lions.
The second seeded Owls come into the tournament with a record of 35-22 and fell short of winning the Conference USA tournament title last weekend, losing to Southern Miss. Rice comes into the tournament in a bit of a slump, losing eight of their last 12 games and having a 2-2 record against teams in the NCAA tournament field over the span (Southern Miss and Florida Atlantic).
The third seeded Lions head across state with a record of 39-19, falling just short of winning the Southland Conference title with a loss to Sam Houston State. SELU has also been in a bit of a slump of late, going 4-6 in their last 10 games after winning nine of their previous 10.
