In the past, the Texas Tech Red Raiders have certainly seen and enjoyed some success when it comes to the realm of college baseball. However, they’re coming off one of their best seasons in quite some time in 2016 into the 2016 NCAA Baseball Tournament where they’re the hosts of the Lubbock Regional and will take on the Fairfield Stags on Friday at Dan Law Field in their first game of the tourney.

The legendary Tim Tadlock is still at the helm for Texas Tech and still getting the most from his players. Of course, that’s much easier with the Big 12 Player of the Year in Eric Gutierrez in the infield. That being said, anything can happen in the tournament and Texas Tech will need to be on their toes against Fairfield.
