Muhammad Ali Dies: Sports stars react on Twitter

The world lost a legend with the passing of three-time heavyweight boxing champion of the world Muhammad Ali at the age of 74.

Muhammad Ali passed away late Friday night after he was hospitalized on Thursday for a respiratory problem that was complicated with his Parkinson’s disease.

Ali was reported to be in grave condition early in the day on Friday before ultimately passing late on Friday and leaving behind an incredible legacy inside the ring and outside the squared circle as a cultural and religious icon.

The sports world mourned the loss of the three-time heavyweight champion of the world on Twitter, including George Foreman who Ali beat in one of his title fights.

The NFL official Twitter account shared one of Ali’s greatest quotes, ā€œHe who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life.ā€
