Virginia and East Carolina will meet in the winner’s bracket of the NCAA Baseball Tournament on Saturday.

When it comes to a double-elimination tournament, it’s good to be a winner in the first game. It’s also great to be the champions. On Friday, the defending College World Series champions, the Virginia Cavaliers, brought their bats to the park and unloaded a bevy of runs on William & Mary.

As a result of the huge win, the Cavaliers will now face East Carolina in the winner’s bracket on Saturday. The winner of that game will be just one win away from advancing to the Super Regional.

Both teams boast plenty of talent and Saturday’s game should be a great showcase of some of the best talent in college baseball.
