Andrew Bogut block leads to huge Stephen Curry three (Video)

Golden State Warriors center Andrew Bogut made a huge block that led to a Stephen Curry three.

The Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers engaged in a fierce battle in the paint to begin Game 2. After letting the Cavaliers control the paint in the first few minutes, Warriors center Andrew Bogut provided some huge minutes early on for the Warriors.

Besides grabbing rebounds and anchoring the paint, Bogut made sure that no one got easy looks inside. As LeBron James found Tristan Thompson with a great pass on the floor, Bogut gave a major swat to Thompson and it got the Warriors out in transition.

That’s when Stephen Curry would hit a huge three on the other end and the Warriors started to find their groove.

It just goes to show at this stage of the season, just how valuable defense really is. Bogut’s block set up the offense and giving the ball to Curry was as easy of a choice to make.

Curry was looking to find his groove after a tough Game 1 and Bogut helped set him up early in Game 2. It was the other way around of how things usually go.
