Next: Who are the top pitching options on Monday?

For an abbreviated 10 game slate, Mondayās action has a variety of options to utilize when putting together your FanDuel MLB lineup including Jon Lester ($11,000) against Philadelphia who is the largest favorite on the board and just posted 49 points in his last start against the same Phillies team.
Michael Fulmer ($8,000) at home versus Toronto:Ā Over the last thirty days no starting pitcher on Mondayās slate has a higher per game average than the Detroit rookie. Fulmer is averaging 44.2 points over the last 30 days, good for 5.5x value at his current price point.
Fulmer has pitched at least 7 innings in each of his last three starts and struck out 22 batters over 22.1 IP.
My only concern with Fulmer is that gamers will have his brilliant start last game out top of mindĀ which may lead to him being higher owned than we would like and with a tough match-up against Toronto I would utilize Fulmer more in multi entry tournament lineups and try to differentiate elsewhere.
Matt Shoemaker ($7,900) at New York Yankees:Ā An interesting pivot off Fulmer would be the Angels right hander who has pitched incredibly well over the last 15 days, averaging 53.7 points per game which is good for 6.8x value at this price point.
Most impressive about Shoemaker is his increased strikeout output as he has struck out 31 batters over his last 22.2 IP with two of his last three games notching double digit punch outs.
Pitching Summary:Ā In cash games, Lester is an absolute must play as he is the only large favorite on the schedule, he has the highest K rate of any pitcher going Monday and he has the most favorable match-up going against the Phillies.
For tournament play, Fulmer and Shoemaker make great budget saving options that have actually outperformed Lester over the last 2 weeks. Both pitchers are in tough match-ups and Shoemaker has the added disadvantage of going up against Masahiro Tanaka.
With two equal options at similar price points, I would recommend utilizing a multi-entry strategy so you can mix and match these two pitchers across a variety of lineups in large field tournaments.
Next: Who are top hitters on Monday?

With a smaller slate and a variety of high upside arms,Ā identifying the right stack and one-off match-ups will be critical when constructing your FanDuel MLB roster!
Detroit Tigers versus LHP J.A. Happ:Ā Any time the Tigers are facing a left handed pitcher, they make for a strong stack consideration given their ability to put up crooked numbers with a dangerous right handed lineup.
What makes this team even more appealing to me on Monday are the price points thats the top hitters are sitting at which allow us to easily pair them with a top priced starting pitcher.
Victor Martinez ($3,100), Cameron Maybin ($3,000) and Justin Upton ($2,700)Ā all sit at very reasonable price points and the fact thatĀ Miguel Cabrera ($3,600)Ā is still available for under $4k makes this a very cost effective and high upside stack against the Blue Jays left hander.
Maybin may be my favorite play of the bunch as the man is absolutely on fire the last 3 days batting near the top of the order and averaging 16.7 points per game!
Cubs RHB versus Adam Morgan (LHP):Ā Although it did not work out Sunday, I want to go back to the well with Kris Bryant ($3,900)Ā as the Cubs third baseman not only gets to hit in a favorable ballpark but gets the platoon advantage against a mediocreĀ left hander.
